We are talking about income taxes. I don't know how high our income tax is comparing to other countries. In case of Philippine, the highest tax is only 20 percent for people who earned $40,000. It's about half in Japan.

I couldn't remember the name where to ski, it is ski resort. When I tried to say, I was thinking how to translate "場" of "スキー場". But this way doesn't go well, "resort" is not come from "場".
If I used to speak English, I would speak without translating from Japanese. Because I have an experience in Chinese.
The way I studied English may be affected. In Japanese education, we trained too much to translate English to Japanese and Japanese to English. It's good to raise reading and writing skills, but not for listening and speaking, I think.

The teacher teach me without much enthusiasm. At the discussion part, she question me and just I answered. We didn't have deeper conversation. I don't have bad impression to the last her lesson, though after today's lesson I unfavorite her :(

Today's teacher care about grammar well. If I answer with incorrect structure, she correct it and write it down to memo space. Some teachers also teach me, but they don't write down. Therefore I forget the sentence which is corrected.
Today I was playing DragonQuest XI. I haven't played it for some months, maybe 3~6 months. I have played almost 50 hours, but I haven't reached the end. In my thought, I reached about 90% of the story. I wish I could finish before playing 60 hours.

Since yesterday, I started to read vocabulary notebook. Through my speaking lessons, I noticed that my vocabulary is not enough to express my thought. There are so many words in the book which I don't know. I need to learn harder.
In the lesson, I learned how to read "20th"(twenty-yeth) and "30th"(thrty-yeth). I don't know "ye" is required before "th" in US English. In UK English, "ye" is not pronounced.

Today's topic is mainly about ancient sites. I don't have an interesting for history neither in Japan and world. Therefore todays's lesson is boring. It's same as 16th day.
If there are no scientific daily news in DMM Eikaiwa, I want to choose teachers who have had a lesson with me, because they know my background. But in its booking system, I need to choose teacher before I know what the news topic are. It is a problem.

Today's teacher speaks English very well, and know many words. I've never heard "arachnophobia" even in Japanese. Arachnophobia is like sickness to feel fear for spiders, scorpions etc. She taught me "phobia" means fear and "arachno" is from arachnid-spiders family.
